LA GOMERA COMPLETED!
"La Gomera, you didn't disappoint. I knew it would be an epic day because of the whales we saw this morning. Today was a blast. La Gomera is the steepest Island of the Canaries so finding a flat bike course here is difficult. There was a relative flat, 5 K loop which I did... 35 times. 1500 elevation gain total. The run was again hard, and the last 5 K I don't even remember ha but that's ok. The 3 hardest islands (outside La Graciosa) are now behind us. It were a heavy 3 days, especially in combination with the nights on the sailing boat where I had limited sleep.. At this point we are just taking it day by day really."

42.2 K run: 03:25:05
Next up is Tenerife, which is supposed to be a kind of "recovery day" as the course is very flat heee but we'll see because it's still a full distance triathlon I need to do..
Anyway, I'm having a BLAST out there.
I can't believe I'm doing this.
3 islands down, 5 to go. 680 km covered.
